Engine

2.5L Common Rail High Power Turbo Diesel With VGT
The Pajero Sport’s powerful diesel engine comes with an enhanced Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT). The VGT works to optimise the turbine flow rate of the engine in order to achieve high torque at low speeds and maximise power at high speeds. The result is a quiet, smooth and incredibly fuel efficient and low emission engine that delivers superior performance.
• Power Output = 131kW@4000rpm
• Torque = 400Nm@2000-2850rpm (M/T), 350Nm@1800-3500rpm (A/T)
• Fuel Consumption = 7.8L/100km (M/T), 8.5L/100km (A/T)
• Emissions = 206 grams/km (M/T), 225 grams/km (A/T)
• Fuel Tank Capacity = 70L

Super Select 4WD

Mitsubishi’s rally-proven Super Select 4WD lets you move from smooth 2H mode highway performance to rugged 4H mode traction without breaking stride. With shift-on-the-fly convenience at up to 100km/h, the right driving mode is always at your fingertips.
2H (2WD High Range)
Only the rear wheels receive power. This mode is best suited for highways and normal driving conditions.
4H (4WD High Range)
4WD control with the flexibility of a centre differential with VCU, gives ready traction on changing conditions or surfaces. Normally operating with a 33:67 torque split, it can react to traction loss by automatically redistributing power up to a 50:50 split.
4HLc (4WD with Centre Differential Locked)
With the centre differential locked to distribute equal torque to all four wheels, this mode is suitable for rough back roads or hazardous weather conditions.
4LLc (4WD Low Range with centre differential locked*)
The four-wheel traction of 4LLc shifts into low gear for maximum torque when going off-road or driving through heavy.
