Available from 16-23 September 2016. Bilene Club Lodge is a mere 25 meters from the saline waters of Lake Uembje. Praia de Bilene has white sandy beaches and azure tropical waters that blend seamlessly into the horizon. The village has numerous restaurants, bars, bakery, local market and shops where very basic products can be purchased. Petrol and diesel are both available. Lake Uembje, saline water (27 km long & 2 km wide), inland lake. Kilometres of blindingly white sandy beaches with thatched umbrellas. Safe swimming in shallow, calm, clear, lukewarm water till late at night (very safe for kids)
