One of the oldest trees, a 600-year old Wild Olive tree dug its roots deep into the soil of the World Heritage Site at Rondekop. A survey by Birders has shown that 138 different species of birds were spotted on Rondekop and surrounding areas.

The World Heritage site is also famous for its Butterflies. The entire area is malaria free. You can view four different watering holes and the passive game capturing facility on a digital camera system.
