the v8 adds a LOT more power and has improved fuel economy when compared to the standard 2F engine, vehicle drivability has improved since it is possible to overtake other slow moving vehicles with ease
the conversion was done by using a gillo enginering bellhousing.
the V8 bolts up directly to the standard toyota 4 speed gearbox using the standard landcruiser clutch and pressure plate that were mated to a chevy flywheel, all parts except the engine were kept standard landcruiser, including engine mounting rubbers.
a lot of care and hours have been put into the work and no shortcuts were taken
transfercase and 4x4 is in 100% working order.
