I had a little bolero made in NZ, but it was pretty hot on the day sadly never got to wear it.
The dress:
The lace is very soft, so from below the belt downwards, the lace got somewhat damaged and you might want to either replace the lace, or leave it on as it now looks vintage/old, or remove the lace to have a completely different look. It all depends on your preferred style.
The magazine photo shows the original design.
My other photos show an added trim to the bottom of the dress, which matches the trim on the bolero. The trim can easily be removed.
